The game that finally swore me off of supporting anything on Kickstarter for the rest of my days. I feel bad that it didn't work out the way the dev wanted, but that doesn't change the end result.1 found this helpful
The game is a bit too esoteric for my liking. Difficult, nice graphics, no save feature. Grinding for tougher weapons is a bit boring. There is absolutely no direction towards going to the next level, where the boss gate is, no significant exposition... Dying will cause you to restart the game. A bit too harsh for my liking.1 found this helpful
abandonware
Doko Roko is beautiful. It speaks to me in a way only a few games can. It's like a dream I never want to wake up from. A wonderful action roguelike with killer presentation. If you're playing on controller, turn up the deadzone and add a spacebar binding with steam input for the continue screen, and that's pretty much all the bugs solved.
A disappointment.
Controller input ♥♥♥♥♥♥ but fun and cool
