About Don't Be Afraid 2

Hello, David. We meet again. Did you enjoy our last game? Because it’s time to play again!

Don’t Be Afraid 2 is a first person perspective horror game and a sequel to the 2020 game of the same title. Take on the role of David, a young man trying to cope with terrible trauma from his childhood, and dive deep into his fears and nightmares. Relive the darkest moments of David’s life while exploring the horrific locations, gathering clues about his past and solving puzzles left behind by the deranged murderer toying with his life.

15 years ago, David went through a nightmare. Kidnapped by a pair of deviant serial murderers and forced to take part in their deadly games, the young boy miraculously survived and escaped what he thought would be his final resting place. Scars are slow to heal, though. For years, David tried to pick up the pieces and deal with the damage those events left on him. Unable to keep a job, find a partner, or even handle simple daily tasks, he leads a pitiful life under the watchful eye of his therapist. And despite his desperate attempts, his past might catch up to him sooner than he expected…

  • A captivating mix of horror and puzzle elements
  • Several terrifying escape rooms, each with different challenges and themes
  • Gripping story that blurs the boundaries between dreams and reality
  • Disturbing drawings, notes and documents that reveal the unpleasant truth
  • Two unique endings

Game is ok but is not 100% like the first one because the 1st game had alot more to do, had monsters walking round and alot more rooms and puzzles, this seems too short and rushed, think it needed more work on it, hope the next one is better but still enjoyed it but definitly the 1st is number 1

Don't Be Afraid 2 is a psychological horror adventure developed by Eneida Games and Cat-astrophe Games and published by Eneida Games, Untold Tales, and GamerSky. Acting as a continuation of the original game, it follows David, a man attempting to live a normal life after surviving unimaginable horrors during his childhood. Rather than presenting a straightforward horror tale, the game explores the lasting emotional scars left by trauma, building its narrative around fear, memory, and the struggle to escape a painful past. This approach immediately gives the experience a more serious and unsettling tone than many horror titles that focus primarily on monsters and jump scares. One of the game's greatest strengths is the atmosphere it creates. Nearly every environment feels designed to place players in a state of constant discomfort. Dimly lit corridors, abandoned rooms, disturbing imagery, and carefully placed environmental details contribute to a persistent sense of dread. The world often feels like a physical representation of David's fractured memories, blurring the line between reality and nightmare. Exploration becomes rewarding because clues, notes, and hidden details reveal a…

compared to the first one not quite as demented but definitely still has a strong sinister vibe and some of the puzzles were actually in a loose sense were done pretty well its probably harder to make some puzzles interesting as each person likely perceives things differently though that later half i relied a bit more heavily on guide than i usually prefer not to mention the narrator though really has a grandiose level of energy almost radiates a chaotic malevolent vibe while the game was good i felt like i smiled more at the narrator

I'm usually the type of person that plays a little bit of a sequel, then stops to look for, buy and play the first game. This game just made me stop. Story is basic, jump scares are cheap and dialogue and monologue are cringe.

Cool game if you like really challenging puzzles. I love escape room type game and DBA2 is really well put together mixing puzzles, horror and quite captivating story.
