This game just doesn't live up to the hype. I've seen people compare it to an ARPG and it's NOTHING like that. It's more like a really REALLY basic survivor game that ends one of two ways: You keep going until you get bored and quit because your build is too good and everything melts under your waves of infinite damage, meaning there's zero challenge and bosses are onscreen for like 3 frames before dying. OR Your damage is not high enough, a stray bullet hits you and deals 15 times your max life in a single hit, and you go back to base to adjust numbers and hope RNG doesn't screw you over so that you don't have to go back to the first option for 5 hours to grind for gear to re-roll again. That's more or less the loop. It's all just grinding gear to make number go up because skills are VERY limited. You effectively have like 1-2 viable builds per character and that's entirely gear dependent so you could want to make one type of build and just never get gear for that build. Wanna play pyromancer? too bad, it's terrible and has no wave clear. A level 3 arrow spammer can destroy mobs your level 30 pyromancer can't touch because DoT in an auto-scroller is pretty bad. Just lots of…

Very disappointing. I play and love many rogue-likes, survivor-likes, arpgs, and even 'number go up' incremental/idle games. Based on the game description and many reviews, the game should be a great mashup of my favourite game mechanics. In reality the gameplay is somehow less engaging than even a basic idle game. There is only one direction of travel, all of the skills feel basically the same. The survivors-type leveling upgrades are minor stat boosts that make no difference to the gameplay. The gearing system has an unintuitive and clunky interface, and doesn't feel rewarding in any way. The skill tree isn't horrible, but every skill is essentially the same because they can all cover most f the narrow single-dimensional play area. There are many small UI bugs such as the ultimate icon being X while requiring Y to be pressed that suggest the dev doesn't test/play this game, or perhaps it was entirely vibe coded. It is so unengaging that I suspect the majority of positive reviews must be paid/bots. Unfortunately, in the spirit of giving this game a fair try I played past the refund window.

Randomly stumbled across this and totally glad I did. It’s a bottom up scroller roguelike action game with elements extracted from Chronicon, Diablo, Poe in the way it currently handles itemization. To be honest at first I wasn’t too sure as at the start things were blowing up easily left and right but a few hours in and I’ve reached the point of needing to align my stats through gear and I can feel it… the itch to blast through stages for the loot boost has taken hold. Been having fun just flinging shockwaves this entire time and I haven’t even explored my characters other skills yet let alone other characters in general! Plus from what I can infer the dev is really passionate about the game which bodes well for its future. Has a lot of potential and room for growth, but what’s currently here is a solid foundation for any fellow loot goblin looking for their next score as mechanics and new concepts get added over time. Personally the pixel style is peak nostalgia. Could use a few QOL (at least for steam deck) such as selection marking, colorblind / color change options, maybe also text scaling when playing via controller but it’s manageable. IMO worth the price it is now for…

I quite like this game. It's simple, repetitive but overall a good time. I do look forward to future content in this game, as there's not too much at the moment besides climbing levels and getting loot. Pros: Four characters each with 3 unique skill trees enables a lot of build variety and replayability. Interesting and powerful unique items to further your build and power fantasy. Simple but fun gameplay. Nice graphics, nothing insane but nice to look at. Game was made by one person, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ props. Mixed: I feel like there's not enough choices on leveling up. A lot of stat increases which are nice and all, but a lot of runs feel the same. I'd like to see more unique choices added. Maybe Meteor has a 10% chance to double in size and power. Maybe your elemental summons gain an additional element. Maybe your arrows stay in spot before returning. Just some spitball ideas. Cons: Music is insanely repetitive. The gameplay is also repetitive, but it's fun. Shorter bursts kind of game. There's a LOT happening on screen and it can get filled with your own projectiles fast. Most of my deaths are simply because I did not see an enemy projectile in the sea of my own projecti…

A delightful amount of ARPG zoomies and build customization with too many fun ways to break the game. Even at maximum chaos, the game was running very smoothly for me. Works flawlessly on Linux.

The Hidden Gem of Action Roguelites (8/10) 🛠️ Solo Dev MagicActually listens: The dev reads bug reports and directly implements player feedback. Massive updates: Recent patches overhauled systems, added better filters, and reworked summoning. GGG energy: The rapid communication feels just like Grinding Gear Games (PoE / PoE 2). It is incredibly refreshing. 🎮 The Mashup You Didn’t Know You Needed The vibe: Imagine the deep loot of Diablo and Path of Exile mixed with a classic arcade shooter like 1942. The loop: Fast, intense, and highly addicting. You dodge bullet hell, vacuum up loot, and build craft. Respects your time: Meta-progression feels great. Failed runs still feed your power loop, and stats reflect properly in the tree from the start. Infinite power: The game lets you scale your builds to completely broken levels if you find the right synergies. 🧙‍♂️ Deep Build Diversity Expanding roster: Multiple unique classes (casters, melee, summoners) with detailed, branching skill trees. Fresh mechanics: Recent patches reworked major skills and added new classes, making character creation deep from the jump. 📖 Short Campaign, Massive End-Game Understated lore: The …
