TLDR: The game concept is great and I look forward to seeing how it progresses - the blatant overlap with The Long Dark and zero recognition or credit of it doesn't sit right with me for now. I went back and forth on whether to write a review, and ultimately decided that I should. I think for players who are new to the genre it would be a good introduction to survival games, albeit potentially difficult until the basics are learned. From what I can tell the developers have been super responsive and do want to build a great game, so I do want to give credit there. There are a lot of great things about this game - while I only played for a fairly short time, I recognize that a lot of work has been put into it. Mechanics all worked well, and I can tell that there is an abundance of things of things to explore and work through. Crafting seems useful and well thought out, and management of resources/weight/hunger/etc... is all an exciting aspect of survival games. The UI seemed a bit cluttered at first, but I quickly realized it was actually super helpful to have everything available right away instead of clicking through a bunch of menus. The tutorial aspect with the quests/direction…2 found this helpful
Pretty buggy that has cost me the a lot of far progress since it forced me to start over. if there was a feature to save multiple slots that might help. but overall pretty fun

Juggling warmth, resources, crafting, and survival decisions created a surprisingly tense loop where every mistake mattered. Good game fills a niche feeling you can't get with other games, just needs more quality Development time to fine tune everything and roll out the content. Game Dev is active on community and takes Feedback and suggestions well, that's a big plus.
My only criticism is that there's not more of it yet. Can't wait for more gameplay/locations to be added and see what the dev team does!!
