Fun but kinda became redundant with NCAA Football coming back into existence

After 80 hours playing the game, I can say that it is absolute garbage because of its fatal flaws. The simming is worse than in EA NCAA Football '14. There is no reason to play this game, since NCAA '14 has animations while this game does not, has better simming, and has better recruiting. Some basic elements of coach simming do not work. For instance, if you are simming your team, your coach will almost never call a time out. Your coach will always kick on 4th and 1 even if you have great running backs and need a touchdown. Your coach will never call for a 2 point conversion, even if it means losing the game. Additionally, recruiting is not realistic for the smaller programs. You can start off as the smallest program in the country and still land 5 star recruits on many years. This is even easier to do than it is in other games that I have played, when it was already a problem. They ignore the reality that many top recruits would rather approach a Power 5 program and do tryouts to be recruited, instead of being recruited by a Group of 5 program. If you like the recruiting aspects of college football games. It's not perfect, but this is probably the best one out there. I've played Solecisemic, NCAA College football from EA Sports back when available, Grey Dog Bowl Bound College Football, etc. The simulation of games needs some work for more realistic stats and realistic outcomes, but the recruiting part is good. If anything I might be getting too good at the game and want it to be harder, but I've played a lot.

Even though I think "Bowl Bound" is a better game, this is a little more stable (only 2 crashes so far, and no progress lost). It is also too expensive IMO and in need of more fine-tuning. Having said that, I do like it. It takes quite a bit of tedious micro-managing, and it can get annoying. Your best players will get hurt. A lot. But if you treat it like real life bad luck, it just adds to the challenge. Here's an example of what makes you want to rage-quit: You absolutely luck out and recruit a 4 star QB for your struggling team. Game 2 he breaks his arm. If you kept your cool during recruiting, maybe you got a 2 star QB who only excels in 1 trait-- high competitiveness. So he comes in and plays over his head until your star comes back. I made the second part up, but it's why I like this game. If you pay attention, you can get some satisfaction. And if you don't want to work that hard, you can cheat a little. The game allows you to create your own walk-ons, and you can stat them any way you want. Also, for some reason, every year great recruits get passed by. The Display is so bad i can't see what i am doing .....what does what ???.....I can't see proper for whatever reason .........This and the pro version one also , cause i bought both and can't even play them which blows

Lots and lots and lots and lots of crashes, i'm struggling hard to coach five seasons without the game crashing and i lost all my progress, the recruiting is understandably simple (its a LOT of players to deal) but too simple, you have to rely on the rankings and the mesurables, there's no indication of how good the player is besides that, and there is a loophole in recruiting that you can coach a team with 20 reputation and still recruit 5 stars players, just wait to the bowl recruitment and offers a scholarship to everyone left, it's simple and it's gamebreaking. The other thing that bothers me is the defensive tackles that come out of HS with no tacking at all, sounds like it doesn't makes part of the skills set The game without all of the crashes would be fun, but there's a lot of problems and nagging things, i expected way more
