it has quite a punch regarding themes like christianity if you pay enough attention to it's story. The old school vibe blended with this heavy atmosphere kind of takes me back in time.

Dreamrealm’s Tower of Despair surprised me in a really good way. The game has a unique dark fantasy atmosphere, and exploring the haunted tower feels genuinely immersive and mysterious. I especially liked the worldbuilding and the lore hidden throughout the game because it gives the whole experience a lot of personality. The mix of dungeon crawling, horror elements, and RPG mechanics works really well, and for the price, it offers great value. Definitely recommended if you enjoy atmospheric indie RPGs with a darker tone.

The atmosphere is on point. I am surprised to feel the nostalgia I usually get on older games, even though this is a new one. The story is interesting and unique, a very good angle on the horror genre I've never seen before. For an indie game, the game is completely worth it just for the experience. The controls may need some more polish, but honestly, I wanted a nice slow-pace experience, and I got just that.
