✦ AI summary
Players praise the game's surreal, psychedelic atmosphere, compelling story about enlightenment, beautiful visuals, and standout soundtrack that create an immersive and memorable experience. However, many criticize the combat system as slow, repetitive, and luck-based, which detracts from the otherwise engaging world and philosophical narrative.
if you can get past the SLIGHTLY boring gameplay this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing. i truly felt like i was in another plane of existence throughout
for the longest time I didn't play this game, and when I finally poured some time into it I can say wow this is pretty good.
a very compelling but tragic story about reaching enlightenment. lots of interesting and silly characters to meet, but exploration is bogged down with slow and repetitive combat. worth it though just to experience the surreal world and memorable story. play Disillusion ST as well as it's a prequel and adds a lot of helpful context to the world and character interactions
This is the top game of all time.
not quite as enjoyable as ST since the combat is slow, too luck based (which isnt a massive issue) and some enemies having tons of health, but the story and aesthetic are still amazing with great visuals and soundtracks.
Psychedelic masterpiece. If u're into this genre then u have to give it a try. Even tho the combat system is pretty boring and not innovative i think the essence lays in soundtrack, beautiful graphics and philosophical (mostly onesided) dialogue. I really enjoyed it but i missed a lot of hidden places so i will give it another shot in the future.
