About DUCK's most terrible day
Follow the story of DUCK, a feathered protagonist whose serene pond life is jolted into disarray when a group of misfits abduct her friends and left her without the ability to fly. She does have the unique ability to decelerate time momentarily, allowing for precise jumps, dodges, and attacks, turning imminent failures into triumphant successes.
The story, told in 5 colors and well over 100 pixels per scanline, guides the player through 3 worlds and 20+ levels. Join DUCK in an adventure where every pixel counts!
Your friends have been captured and are imprisoned within cages scattered throughout the game. Leap on top the cages to destroy them and set your friends free!
Save-up warp pellets and enable timewarp to dodge enemy attacks or surprise your enemies with a burst of rapid-fire bullets. You can find these pellets throughout the levels and enemies will usually drop some when they're destroyed.
You'll encounter a diverse array of adversaries, each presenting unique challenges. There are some that soar through the skies, others that slither close to the ground and attack at a moments notice. And some simply.. walk.

"DUCK's most terrible day" is a 2D platformer. Minimalistic with cute graphics and interesting mechanics! Unfortunately, at its current state, I can't recommend it and especially with 4 euros price tag. The main issue with the game, is the most basic feature all platformers have... The jump. It either makes or breaks a game.. In this game it isn't enough for our feathery friend to flap his wings... And this inconsistent jump is what makes it fall to its doom... It is indeed its most terrible day... Like in many other platformers, that unresponsive and inconsistent jump, will account for most of your deaths. I would love to see it fixed as to revise my review and enjoy the game! It looks very fun! Cool little game, I think the controls might be a bit too unforgiving but the game isn't too punishing upon death so I don't mind it too much. Still a very nice looking and simple game that's worth the price of admission.2 found this helpful
