About Consequence
butterfly effect - (noun) - (with reference to chaos theory) the phenomenon whereby a minute localized change in a complex system can have large effects elsewhere.
Surely one change shouldn't change everything, right?
Play through this thrilling, story-based, psychological horror game, about small inconveniences that you must overcome, by dreaming that something was slightly different. Surely that shouldn't break the whole world and universe...

This game is really short, it took my just under 20 minutes to complete the game entirely. But this game was really cool, it has a really cool game mechanic and an interesting story line, although I have a bunch of questions about what is actually going on which will hopefully be answered in the sequel. Also I think the main mechanic of the game could've been utilised a bit better and the combat was slightly stale after a while but it is a short game so that doesn't matter too much. I think that the atmosphere was really good, the music definitely helps with that, but yeah get the game it pretty cool7 found this helpful
Consequence is a somewhat novel idea for an otherwise godawful 2D retro pixel platformer. The game requires you to use a "rewind time" mechanism to progress through the relatively short game. Novel ideas are good and all, but they don't work unless they're delivered properly, and the 2D retro pixel "art" here is laughably bad. Locked resolution and controls and overall poor quality prevent this from being recommendable.3 found this helpful

A very frustrating yet satisfying game, which allows you to choose how to beat every boss. Would recommend buying and pushing through all the bosses! 8/10 a fun game to put some time into!2 found this helpful
