About Duckpocalypse
In the future, intelligent robot ducks have become smarter than humans, they took our jobs while we were busy fighting nuclear wars with each other. Few of us remained to see what is known today as the "Duckpocalypse". As an enraged simple human mind, you manage to build two guns with the scrap you gathered from an annoying robot duck, and so this is how your duck hunt starts!
Duckpocalypse is a VR arcade-style game made for the HTC Vive. Get in, grab your guns, take a second to let the new pixel world around you sink in, and then shoot that start button! Get on a fast paced challenge to bring down as many of those robot ducks as you can! Invite your friends over and see who can set the best score!

Duckpocalypse is a short but nice 360 shooter for VR. Shoot as many ducks as possible before the world around you blows to oblivion. You can shoot parts from your cabin for a better aim area. I've ended up not playing my VR for awhile but just got the craving for some arcade shooter action and saw this in my library, and it was perfect! 90 second rounds to just pull the triggers as fast as possible, for a bundled price of $1 this really paid off.1 found this helpful
Not worth the $3, I'm sure all the positive reviews are from friends of the dev. Load the game, shoot the two blasters seen in the clip. That's literally the entire game.
This is pretty much a frantic, fun and highly stylized VR version of the classic Chicken Hunter / Moorhuhn. There is only one stage and you get 1:30 minutes to kill as many enemies as possible in a 360° shooting gallery. There are different enemy types that score for different amounts of points. You can blow up explosive items to kill several enemies in one shot. That's it, but it's fun to chase high scores or just enjoy the carnage.
Basically you shoot ducks to get as high of a score as you can in 90 seconds. That's it. Rinse and repeat. No variations, extra levels, bosses, or anything of the sort. Perhaps in 2016 when the game was released was this acceptable. At least the asking price is low... tl;dr LOW EFFORT. PS. If you are using index controllers, the guns won't work properly. Go load one of the community controller profiles and you'll be OK.
duckhunt in vr, it's like 90 seconds a round and keeps local highscores. Nice little game to pass around playing hotseat or for introducing people to vr. Plays fine on my oculus quest 2 streaming from pc via virtual desktop
