100% RNG based. Made a character and made it to the third floor with a decent amount of drops and gold. Retired that character and started with 710 gold as opposed to 300. Did everything the same way and died on the third enemy of the second floor because not enough gold dropped that run to come close, with future different builds dying on the first enemy of the game. I regret sinking so much time into this game trying to figure out the best way to tackle it, only to find the "strategy" relies entirely on luck almost immediately. If I could refund this right now, I would. Hopefully the dev(s) balance this game out so every battle doesn't feel like a scratch off lottery ticket whether I get enough gold to go back to town and upgrade my gear, or if the enemy blocks every single attack until I die despite my weapon surpassing their armor level.

Tutorial is hard to understand. I can barely understand what to do, where to go, whether my character means anything... even my controls aren't shown in the tutorial. An actual short level with messages telling me how to play would be very helpful. Another problem is the sound. Despite turning the music and the sfx down to 0, I still hear sound when I die. And despite the game being pixelated, the sword is not in pixels. movement should be by square, not just moving around freely. Not worth the money in any way.
