I've definitely played and beaten well over a hundred horror games, and none of them come anywhere close to being as frightening an experience as this one.10 found this helpful
The random generated maps makes the game luck based, especially on the timed levels. You walk miles and miles through hallways hoping to find the room that has the things you need in order to leave the stage. You find the exit, but you haven't found the switch to make the exit work. You have to backtrack through miles of hallway to explore areas you missed. You don't have time on the timed stages to go back and search. If you didn't get lucky enough to find the switch and the other items you needed early, you might as well quit and replay the level because you are not going to have enough time. It gets even more frustrating when the monster shows up. Because there is no options. There is no other hallway or alternative route. You have to backtrack away from the monster because you're in one big long hallway. But you don't have time. You have to go through that monster and risk it killing you, because you don't have time. (Edit.) The Fire on the final level is such unfair bs that I want to sling countless profanities at this developer.3 found this helpful
