About Dungeon Survival
Black Haze is a border town renown for its rich mineral deposits, which has fallen on hard times of late. In this city, it is difficult to tell the difference between good and evil. Following the mysterious disappearance of the former lord, the fragile balance of the city is disrupted. You are Royde, and you have been chosen by the king to bring balance back to Black Haze and investigate the strange reports that have come from the city.
- 9 classes, each with unique skills. Build your party however you choose.
- Intricate turn-based combat lets you become the master of the battlefield
- Characters develop traits that can help or hinder. You must decide how to use them.
- Follow the story or venture off on your own to bring your enemies to justice.
- Challenging enemies will keep you on your toes. Do not underestimate them or it will mean your destruction.
- Rare and powerful enemies will challenge you. Defeat them to collect precious loot and prove your valor.

I agree with the first reviewer that this game is better than Darkest Dungeon. For me anyway and I'll explain why. Darkest Dungeon is a game I really wanted to enjoy but the difficulty was a bit much for me to be really satisfied with the game and I ended up frustrated. Otherwise I did like the style of that game and it was really well done in a lot of ways. This game "Dungeon Survival", is a a somewhat dumbed down and more easily playable version for me of Darkest Dungeon. When I say dumbed down I mean the story is rather simplistic and more so than Darkest Dungeon. It's been a while since I played Darkest Dungeon but Dungeon Survival has been substantially easier for me to actually make meaningful progress in. It's not an entirely easy game with good tactics and certain character types in a given team making progression easier but not as difficult as Darkest Dungeon. Graphically it's very good and really well priced. I've already gotten hours of fun out of it with lots left and it only cost $4.76 AUD. If you think a "lite" and somewhat more relaxed version of Darkest Dungeon might suit you it's a no brainer to buy this game and I highly recommend this as a great value type o…14 found this helpful

I was hoping to pick this up as an alternative to Darkest Dungeon. The game intrigues me but I'm not good at it. The graphics are fine--but the game stutters and it failed to hold my interest. It could definitely use a narrator like DD and better and more audio feedback. Looking back on it, the narrator goes a LONG way to keeping interest, at least for me and not having one definitely detracts. The game itself appears serviceable, but unfortunately it's not what I was hoping it would be.
