Man, I was really hoping I'd missed an "Early Access" notice. But nope, this thing is supposedly finished. It's not terrible, mind you. Just... horribly inconsistent. There are lines of dialogue that look like leftovers from earlier versions of the script, conversations where every other line is voiced, and a story that goes totally off the rails by the morning of Day 2, where it suddenly starts hedging its dialogue so that what characters say could maybe kind of possibly a little bit almost make sense, no matter what choices I've already made. Celeste is ragging on me for how I'm interacting with Izzy, and I haven't even talked with the imp. The art is alright. The dialogue is... pretty cheesy at first, but it gets better, and the voice-actors are actually not terrible. But good grief, if you're gonna try and tell a story, make sure the thing actually WORKS AS A STORY, where characters say and do things that logically follow from what came before. I really wanted to like this, but there's no build-up, no continuity, and no way it's a finished product. Can't recommend it, gonna try and get my money back.

First of all, I got this on sale and don't want a refund because the art is really cute and I personally feel like its at least worth what I paid for it. I HATE this game for me though. I like female protag games and this a male protagonist with no switch option! I found it with the female protag hashtag which has me out of sorts because that is NOT the case. For people that like male protagonists there are a lot of fun scenes and interesting things within this game but to flat out imply or lie about there being 2 characters to play in the description is messed up. They have acknowledged this from other players and have not changed the description to fix it(at least at the time of writing this) and are instead talking about having a DLC later? The sandbox is also ok, but like I said earlier, if there was a female protag option I'd 100% recommend but as it is now I can't play it. I've played male protag games before having known what I was getting into and would have explored that option a bit had it been known prior. I'm extremely frustrated over this because the characters are so cute and I just got crushed. I should have looked more into the game's descriptions and discussions be…

I'll be honest, when I bought this game in early access, I expected quite a bit more out of it. It's not bad at all, I just expected more for the story and alternate routes. For the price, especially on sale, I'd still recommend it. Just don't expect to get too many hours out of it.

The art is fantastic, but unfortunately everything else is lacking.

Don't get me wrong, I don't regret buying it. It’s just that the game is too heavy for what you actually get (>10GB) to see. The dialogue is immersive and creative; the writing alone is enough to pull you in. The problem lies in the gameplay mechanics and the animations. They are slow, monotonous, and at times, just plain silly. While there are moments when the situations take you by surprise and there are some very extreme, unexpected plot twists, those twists sometimes feel forced and out of place. There is some great artwork, and the occasional animation can really sweep you into the fantasy. There are interesting characters, but the Paladin knight, in particular, is just too prudish and ridiculous. It’s contradictory, though, since he’s also the most perverse and repressed member of the group—an explosive combination in his case.

i tried to give this game a chance many times, and it's just boring... don't waste your money. there are just mountains of dumb text, scenes are boring and the whole plot is just stupid. MUCH better games out there at this price point
