Duskfade

I don't write a lot of reviews, but after playing this for 3 or 4 hours, I wanted to make an exception for this game. This is because, it's good, very good even, but there are a few points I've found so far that keep it from being truly great, at least in my opinion. And if the Devs go on to make another, these are the pain points I think could easily be improved upon to make a truly great game. Because so many things are SO CLOSE but not perfect. 1: Invisible walls. You guys have put them all over the place, and I think a bit too much. There have been MANY times already, and I'm barely in, where I see some platforms or such that look like they might lead to a secret or something, and I start to climb and think "I might be onto something here", and then like 5 platforms in I jump to the 6th platform and ACTUALLY INVISIBLE WALL and I fall off and lose health. Please use actual walls. Don't put scenery in where sometimes it's climbable / I can jump on it and stand, and then literally next to it, the exact same scenery but invisible wall - slide into a death pit. It's disorientating, and it makes me hesitant to jump on anything. 2: Movement. The movement feels exceptionally good 90%…

10/10 Would highly recommend to anyone into the KH, Jak&Dexter, Ratchet and Banjo games! The combat is fluid and felt reminiscent of older games while retaining a unique feel and style! The story was a master craft of both well scripted character development and classic narrative twists that made the experience feel very fresh from zone to zone! Lastly the Collectathon and difficulty scaling makes the replayability extremely high and enjoyable!

To me this is in an instant classic. The game is incredibly solid, fnatastic combet and it's so incredibly visually stunning i was actully taking screen shots the whole game.

This game feels like a love letter to my childhood and is absolutely stunning to look at and listen to. Gameplay feels smooth! the only thing i'd like is ledge grabbing to be available anywhere and not just specific spots. As of writing I haven't finished the final boss yet but the story so far has been so heartwarming and has even made me cry twice. If you love Kingdom Hearts and Treasure planet? or PS2 platformers? A beautiful action platformer that feels like it should be on the PS2 (very complimentary) Story is charmingly sincere and the character feels great to navigate and fight with!
