Dynamic Very, Very, Hard game!! is an unapologetically punishing indie experience that builds its entire identity around difficulty, unpredictability, and a kind of mischievous design philosophy that seems intent on testing the player’s patience as much as their skill. Developed by White Dog Games and published by SA Industry, it doesn’t attempt to ease players into its mechanics or offer a gradual learning curve. Instead, it throws them directly into a cycle of failure and repetition, where progress is measured not in steady advancement but in small, hard-earned breakthroughs. The structure is deceptively simple. At a glance, the objective in each segment appears straightforward—navigate hazards, avoid traps, and reach the end of a section—but the way these elements are arranged transforms even basic tasks into significant challenges. The game thrives on timing, precision, and pattern recognition, often requiring players to memorize sequences of obstacles through repeated attempts. What makes it particularly distinctive is its tendency to subvert expectations, introducing sudden changes or hidden dangers that catch players off guard. This unpredictability becomes a defining trait…1 found this helpful
Played for about five minutes before ruling this out. The collisions are very glitchy - you'll frequently get stuck on the floor just walking forward, in a wall, or on a slope. The level design is shallow and worst of all the platforming controls are imprecise. Creating a "difficult" platformer with poor controls and no controller support should be a criminal offense.1 found this helpful
Terrible hitboxes, lots of bugs, and the game didn't even let me progress. Next time please playtest your game. Perhaps my jump button will actually work this time? Will I avoid getting caught on literal air while spikes lower onto my head? Consider me lucky if the gate to end the level even works. Despite all of its flaws, Dynamic "Very, Very, Hard game!!" is actually fun when it manages to avoid crashing or being a glitchy mess... which is almost never. Guess I'll take my 10 cents worth of trading cards and never play this game again.
Brutal, unforgiving, and somehow impossible to put down. Rage + joy = this.
