8.5/10. The art style is really charming and unique, takes me back to a mid-2000's vibe. The story is servicable, though the game really wants me to care about the male lead and I just wasn't fussed. Otherwise, it felt like a pretty strong time management style game, with only a few annoyances (a lot of jobs get locked out by being low innocence, but most H-scenes require low innocence). NG+ works very well to see content that was missed the first time around and in fact makes it feel like your first run is just 'getting the hang of things'. It'd probably have been a 9/10 if the script was just a bit more polished, but missing punctuation, uncapitalized names, and choppy dialog flow took me out of the immersion quite a bit especially near the end of the game, so I've gotta give it an 8.5/10 for that.3 found this helpful
(reaches the end of the game, nods, and slow claps) yeah. pretty f'in good. like another reviewer here said, it wasn't quite *enough* for me erotically, despite it having *frequent* scenes. I think what was missing for so many of those scenes was *context*, like the story of why you're there doing a thing other than that *you clicked on it*. loved the art, loved the Persona influence. Loved the story actually, and am looking forward to the sequel. there are nits, for sure. I had to reload several times because of bugs, especially involving me hitting the button to change clothes in the middle of something else and ending up with a flickering sprite. But like, so much of this experience was done so well, it didn't really detract from that. Have to tip my hat to the developer, who clearly put so much love and care into overhauling RPG Maker's visuals (at least, I assume that lots of this *isn't* an asset pack), and developing and using a unique art style. This game isn't *polished*--it'd be wrong to give it credit for that--but it manages to be *unique*, even while exploring familiar tropes.3 found this helpful
The Short of it: The game is worth buying, even at full price. Pros: *Great art design and direction *Large variety of H-scenes and content *Vast majority of H-scenes and content are replayable and does NOT require fail state to view Spicy content (important for certain achievements) *Solid/Serviceable story *Engaging characters *Interesting world interactivity *Diverse endings Cons: *Lots of possible bugs that can interfere or terminate some quests or achievements (recommend making lots of separate save files just in case) *Some areas and scenes are noticeably lower quality than rest of the game, easy to see rushed worked. *Some quests and/or achievements are easy to miss or have extremely esoteric requirements to progress (recommend keeping separate save files and looking at guides to help with some quests' progression if confused or stuck) *Good character interactions and moment but not enough character development (Not that important, especially with H-games but does a lot to help narrative feel more engaging, mostly just personal taste this criticism) Game creator has a Patreon and currently working on DLC for the game, I highly recommend supporting this creat…2 found this helpful
Very good game, the art is quite good. The story is quite entertaining, especially for an H game, it left me wanting more. it has a good combat system and the H scenes are well done.1 found this helpful
Gameplay loop gets a little stale. Quests aren't as forthcoming with information as one would hope, sometimes you get all the info you need to finish a quest, other times you're running around town trying to figure out what quest, day or event you need in order to progress the quest you're actually on. H-scenes could use a few more frames, and despite the developer posting in discussions that they're working on uncensored scenes, half are still mosaic/censored. Do yourself a favor and use a save editor to add money when you start the game otherwise you're going to be dumping a lot more hours into this game than is actually necessary. With the extra funds you can just buy all the cutscenes at the mall and save yourself a lot of time and frustration. Wish I could give it a "meh" review, mainly for the price versus content you get. I'd say pick it up if it goes on sale otherwise you might consider a different game unless you're really into the prostitution aspect which was really the only thing that drew me to this title.
Higher quality and longer than other games of its class
