About Broke Alchemist Emma's Debt Repayment Plan

Emma is a young alchemist who lives in Echichi Town. Life is great for her until one day, her mother suddenly goes missing. It turns out that her mother had incurred a hefty debt of 1,000,000 gold to the Baron of Echichi Town, Lord Umuru. There are a variety of quests and bounties commissioned by the Adventurer's Guild that pay handsome rewards, but require Emma to dive head-first into peril and danger. On the other hand, she can make use of her alchemical abilities to complete quests to help out the villagers and guild alike. What mysteries await Emma on her journey to repay her debt? Will she find out the truth of what happened to her mother? Just what is going on with some of the people in Echichi Town?
In this open world RPG, the key areas of interest in Emma's quest to repay her debt are those that the Adventurer's Guild has deemed dangerous due to Dungeon Masters.
Despite her kind looks, Emma is quite the skilled alchemist in battle, though her spells are limited by the grimoires she has access to. You'll have to mix and match your equipment based on the situation to get the upper hand in combat.
Encounters are initiated by bumping into enemies, but can be escaped at any time. Leveling is also performed by interacting with a certain character you'll meet along the way.
Certain endings and content will require you to enter New Game+, allowing for a high degree of replayability, especially for completionists!
A Multitude of Quests to CompleteIn order to earn the money to pay back Emma's debts, you can head to the Adventurer's Guild and complete a number of quests to help out the citizens or the guild itself. Some quests are perilous and require Emma to defeat wanted monsters, but others will require Emma's talent in alchemy to synthesize or gather items for people around town.
Non-Linear Story ProgressionThe world is vast and holds a number of mysteries. While Emma's main goal is to repay her debt, she will undoubtedly come across mysterious happenings pertaining to her situation, the people close to her, and the world itself. You may also come across some familiar faces, but why they're here is unknown. It's up to you to piece these mysteries together to unravel the truth of this world.
Exploration-based Open-World RPGThere are a ton of areas to explore around Echichi Town and beyond! Emma's journey will take her from dangerous dungeons to interesting locations all throughout the land, and it's all up to you which one you'd like to see first!

To be honest... I'm a bit Disappointed. i felt that the reviews weren't being completely true and some might be picky and all so i tried playing and so i did play through everything and then i concluded that they were kinda right after all. This game felt REALLY Incomplete and rushed i don't know what exactly happened but its feels like that. there were a lot of things that was put into the story (talking about the dream sequences connection through the mainline) and i can see how it goes in the greater scene but somehow it doesn't really connects with how the flow of the story considering how simple it is. this just makes things look complicated and a mess (it felt like this game suppose to be longer than expected but it wasn't). about the game play its your typical you kill everything without strategy which mostly i dont mind but this one it feels like it didnt even matter which is worst (they could have atleast did more in this part). UI is also rough specially how they made the fast travel and crafting it was way too plain and cluttered it hurts. Artstyle is okay and good enough for me i do wish they made more variants and all. i hate complaining or leaving a bad review about…

Broke Alchemist Emma is a simplified version of the JRPG genre. While not the best, it's still worth the time put into it for the sale price of $10. NOTE: I did not download the hentai +18 patch to play this game. This review will be about the santized version of the game. STORY: Emma wakes up one morning, and her mom is gone. She owes $1,000,000 to Baron Umuru. He now demands Emma pay her mother's debt. Emma gets to work. GAMEPLAY: You run around one small city and pick up quests. The Adventure's Guild will give you access to dungeons. You can fight monsters in the dungeons, use magic or other abilities, and pray your hit points don't go to zero. The blacksmith only sells three weapons, and that is it. In the dungeons, you will find some items to wear like slip resistant shoes. You do not gain experience from killing monsters. Instead, you pay the priest at the church to raise your levels and stats. The amount of money needed increases as your levels go up. So you have to ask yourself, do you want to keep raising your levels or pay off your debt? Either way, you have unlimited time to do so. Raising money is fairly easy. Even in the first dungeon, I w…

My God... this dev can have such pretttty art work and UGH it hurts to see such a talent go to waste on this god forsaken slop! There's good hentai games and then there's this! Didn't bother with it... I am NEVER touching this dev's games again, unless I know for sure that there is a consistent story and fun. I'm starting to think they should get a good writer. Like at least have one or two endings that are actually worthwhile to obtain. ugh. this is one of the dev's earlier titles, so I guess it's not fair to judge it to harshly. but I played the DEAR one and that one just made me feel icky. like all it was missing was vore and gore. ugh

Easily one of the weakest entries from Kagura. Art is inconsistent, it can look really good or god awful. Story is all over the p[ace, and most importantly: There's absolute zero build up. The OC can mention how in no way she won't sell herself off for money to pay off her debt one second, then she's giving handjobs to a random NPC the next. Go play Brave Alchemist Colette instead.
