About EL PASO, NIGHTMARE
✦ AI summary
Step into a nightmarish motel where a simple ice run turns into a battle against iconic horror creatures in this lo-fi, high-octane first-person shooter. Fight endless waves of corrupted armor, werewolves, vampires, and more in pulse-pounding survival mode with a killer hip-hop soundtrack and plenty of firepower to turn the tables on your pursuers.

El Paso, Nightmare is a first-person horror game about stepping out of your motel room to get a bucket of ice, and instead being greeted by horrors beyond imagination. Become down-on-his-luck IT programmer Luis Rojas as he attempts to escape the dimension-shifting disaster that players will experience in the upcoming El Paso, Elsewhere. Flee iconic horror monsters from film, literature, and myth before turning the tables with an arsenal of powerful weapons.
Following in the footsteps of classic lo-fi, high-action shooters, El Paso, Nightmare is your new destination for fighting corrupted suits of armor, damned brides, werewolves, vampires, and more, in an endless, replayable survival showcase.
This is the second worst day of Luis Rojas' life.
Make sure it doesn't become his first.

It's alright. I got it for free with El Paso, Elsewhere so I won't be harsh. I'm guessing this is some sort of intro to the world of El Paso, Elsewhere but instead of being a third person game it's a survival horror type deal. That is, until you get to the second/last level of this little side story, where it's a survival horror but now you have guns and you have to make it through a surreal labyrinth while fighting a minimum amount of waves of enemies. I'll be honest, the confusing maze of this wasn't my favorite part. But again, given the circumstances I'm not gonna be harsh. It's an alright short play.1 found this helpful
Stressful little horror boomer shooter. I know this was a proof of concept or whatever and is not much like El Paso, Elsewhere but I had fun. And the voice actor is great!1 found this helpful
It is a demo. It is a test of El Paso Elsewhere's enemies, level art and core "loop" but in a very barebones FPS format. I was just curious. The Concept differing from Elsewhere was nice, the framing was nice. There really was soemthing there. I can say it was interesting. And as it was free with El Paso Elsewhere, it was fine... really not anything worth to anyone except maybe upand coming gamedevs to see what some test version of a game might have been.
EL PASO, NIGHTMARE walked so that I AM YOUR BEAST could run
Ever wonder what El Paso, Elsewhere would be like if it were bad, bordering unplayable? Here it is!
Absurd and boring. So, do you like walking? Do you like hallways? How about walking through hallways? And do you like things that look exactly the same? Endlessly? For no good reason? Oh, boy, do I have the game for you: No story. You walk forward. And then, you walk around with NOTHING to do for NO reason.
