About Elastrix

Bounce your way to victory!

Elastrix is a puzzle game that will stretch your brain to the max! The rules are simple: stretch elastics onto pegs, bounce little Trix creatures on them, and hit the targets.

But easier said than done! Throw in challenge gems to collect, new zany kinds of elastics, moving obstacles, anti-gravity, and a quest to make the Perfect Shot - and suddenly it's an hour later and you've forgotten to make supper.

Oh yes, it's that kind of game.

✦ AI summary

Elastrix is praised as a relaxing, inventive physics puzzle game with intuitive mechanics that's worth playing for a few hours, particularly at its low price point. However, players consistently criticize it as short and relatively simple, with the main campaign lacking sufficient challenge, and the optional Trixball mode relying too heavily on randomness rather than skill—making it feel more like a mobile game than a full desktop experience.

This is not what I expected. The video and screenshots make it seem much better than it is. 4/10

The main game is fun and mildly inventive for as long as it lasts. The extra mode Trixball is RNG hell. If you're going for all of the achievements, this is where most of your time will be spent.

Elastrix is a physics-based puzzle game developed and published by Hyper Hippo Games that centers its entire design around elasticity, trajectory, and precision. At first glance, the concept appears straightforward: players stretch elastic bands across pegs to influence the movement of small spherical creatures known as Trix, guiding them toward specific goals while collecting optional gems. Yet within this simple premise lies a layered puzzle framework that steadily evolves in complexity. The game relies on intuitive physics interactions rather than complicated rule systems, allowing players to experiment freely while gradually mastering its mechanics. The fundamental mechanic revolves around placing elastic bands on a grid of anchor points. When a Trix is launched into the environment, it interacts with these bands, bouncing, ricocheting, and redirecting according to angle and tension. Early levels introduce the basics of trajectory control, helping players understand how subtle adjustments in placement dramatically alter outcomes. As the campaign progresses, new elements are introduced, such as moving obstacles, environmental modifiers, and additional constraints that demand in…

Wonderful physics game for perfect relaxation.

Oof, I forgot to write a review for this game a few years ago when I beat it so my memory is a little hazy on it. It's very short. The levels end up hardish but not really hard enough to make you have to rake your brain for solutions. If you can't tell what type of gameplay this game offers by looking at 10 seconds of the trailer, well the game might be a bit to difficult for you. I think it's worth the $3 asking price for sure.

Good way to waste an afternoon or two. Fun but its more of a mobile game, don't spend more than 2$ on it
