Great zelda like game. lots of stuff to collect for the completionist. good story and combat can be semi tricky early on. not a fan of the map system, but you get used to it. i 100% recommend this game. it doeant hold your hand and there are no quest markers, so talking to npcs is a must to find our where to go.

Good zelda-like, in the sense of the ols ones, but with some new QoL too. Nice theme with the elements, and the story is quite engaging too. Not trivial, but still on the easy-average side (mostly due to the amount of healing), apart from some bosses. Around 15h-20h of content, depending on whether you're a completionist or not. As a personal note, I love how the game introduce all the abilities, even the late-game ones right in the beginning while you're lagging behind

Overall the game is good with really good music. If you like old school Zelda types of games that do not "hold the player's hand" then you might want to give this a try. For new players wanting hints on which area to go to next, try talking to the tourist couple who says where they are heading next. The biggest downside of the game for me is all the backtracking in the overworld after getting new elements to get to previously inaccessible places. I used the ingame map markers and steam notes to keep track of these places while playing.

Great 2D Zelda inspired game with clever uses of the elements that you acquire throughout the game. Backtracking can sometimes get a bit tedious and some of the later dungeons can be difficult to navigate. Other than that, it's a fantastic and beatiful game that runs perfectly on the steam deck. I highly enjoyed my ~22h it took me to 100% the game

A massive disappointed game. Played this on the Steam Deck and was ready to re-live playing any top down Zelda game on my Gameboy Color, like the old days and was disappointed greatly by this game. They tried to make it feel like an old Zelda game with the graphics, play style, dungeons, etc. and for the most part, it does feel like an old Zelda game. But the game just isn't finished and feels like an early access demo. The game is pretty bland with a somewhat dumb story line where your parents are the reason the world goes to crap and you are forced to fix your parents issue. What I mean is, you don't get a choice. Golden Sun had a choice where you can say no to wanting to get the elements back and and it shows what happens when you said no. You don't have choices and your character is essetinally saying yes, without even giving you a chance to reply. Your character is hard to know what they look like and are given a choice for pronouns. It does NOTHING except for choices in how they reply to you and thats it. Can't even tell if I'm a male or a female and they fact that they give you the pronoun choice, while not changing how you look. Should've either been a male character or a …

An excellent "Zelda-like"! A few bosses were a bit annoying to deal with, but the game as a whole was quite excellent! Seems the dev is quite active on the Steam forums as well, which is always great to see. Check this one out!
