Survival:
This game mode is aimed for the player to explore and unlock different elements and skills and complete various challenges while surviving the hoard of enemies coming their way.
Ascension:
This game mode is the main gameplay loop of the game and is a roguelite experience where you attempt at ascending the realms and defeating the various bosses in each zone, unlocking secret zones, and finally beating the final boss.
Siege:
Siege will be a tower-defense kind of game mode, where you have to protect the aetheric crystal from a hoard of monsters while upgrading your powers.
PVP:
have fun with your friends and family to discover who is the best aether wielder.

Me: Can we have Wizard of Legend? Mom: No, we have Wizard of Legend at home Wizard of Legend at home: Being a bit more serious: The game is VERY barebones. It lacks spell, item and enemy variety. The maps are like Russia, so much land filled with nothing. Spawning in a new map is a dice roll. (even with that short immortality you are given) as soon as you spawn you are surrounded by enemies from every direction. The item balancing is awful, a lot of the time you just chose the item that gives the most stats rather then thinking of what would be good for you. (why would you choose an item that gives you an increase to one stat when you can get one that gives an larger increase and to 2 stats at once) I understand the game is still on early access so I will revisit the game at a later gate to re-review it. The game has some potential however for now It sounds, looks and plays like an asset flip.2 found this helpful
Really love this game. It still have a lot of room for improvement since it's still early access. But till now its a really good game and I am having fun playing this game. Would recommend it 100%1 found this helpful

Aether is a hidden pearl. The gameworld draws you in and is full of surprises, and the graphics are beautiful. The fighting mechanics are so good that they enable tactical fighting. Aether is fun and innovative and i would have happily paid 30 Eu for it.
"Aether" is a cute roguelike action/rpg game. The early access is fun enough and while i can see or find things that took away parts of the fun - like, there are items raising my healing, but i didn't found a single way to heal myself, and i didn't found a way to enable the artifact i obtained, but i am pretty sure those things will be changed with the full release.
