This is very generic fare and not particularly well executed. Elise follows the often used but rarely improved combat corrution RPG-maker formula. Imagine the most standard ham and cheese sandwich you've ever had. It's fine. It's familiar. But it's not exciting, new or creative. It's not fun to eat, it's not fully satisfying, but it's something to consume until you find a real meal. Now replace the ham with bologna, the cheese with processed cheese slices and the bread goes 60% whole wheat. No mustard or mayo. That's what Elise feels like. The game does absolutely nothing new and the things it copies are done poorly. The combat isn't bad but they have spiciness happen during combat. The pictures feel confused and cluttered, they are extremely repetitive and there is no way to skip them faster. You end up seeing the same boring scene again and again. And again. Failure ends the run and your're given a few still images to show the end result. Then you just respawn in her bedroom and start the quest over. There is no animation at all and the art feels incomplete. That's strange to say because the images are simultaneously cluttered and confusing. It just feels like they wanted t…

Elise and the Spellbinding Marionette is a fun but short game. The story and gameplay kept me entertained, and the characters were enjoyable. The H-scenes were okay, nothing amazing but not bad either. Overall, I'd give it a 6/10 — a decent experience, I just wish there was more content and playtime.

Good game but would have been better if almost all the h content didn't take place during battle and if the other girls beside the main character got some action.

A great H-RPG that focuses on BF (Battle F*). The art and scenes are great, although most of them happened during combat and also my only gripe about it is that some scenes with certain mobs can keep continuing uninterrupted which can last for quite long. The story itself is straightforward and you can play however you like as it doesn't affect the ending, so you're free to play as pure or as corrupted as you wish. Overall, it's a pretty fun and engaging H-RPG to play. Highly recommended.
