I like the Japanese concept of Ninja doing something else than just spying and doing mercenaries work. Unlike from history in the game the Ninja is doing the "honorable" way of taking revenge from the one who was killing fellow Shinobis' near by and getting help from the Empress of Gold. The background is easy on eyes reminds me of old silk screen paintings which the music blends in smoothly. The Hero (Ninja) does the legendary light on his feet movement which folklore and legend tells how they move. The use of the throwing stars shuriken and katana...so into the game kill em bad guys and even become the Empress herself- am not done but I like...so far

"Empress of Gold" is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere (although this one is 3D rendered, it's just got 2D gameplay). You're supposed to control a ninja and go fight against a bunch of enemies, but this is so badly made it comes across as a high school coding project (and the student failed the course and was held back a year as a result of this garbage). There's an element of asset flipping here, too... it looks like the developer made their own ninja assets (because they look comedically terrible, low poly blobs), coupled with a bunch of immaculate background assets like high res, detailed medieval houses and so on. Yeah... I don't believe the developer when they're representing (by omission of any game credits) that they created all these assets themselves. They used someone else's assets and they're trying to pass them off as their own. That's plagiarism. It's not okay. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. Ther…

I like the concept of the story. Graphics are easy on the eyes, reminds me of the the movie ninja scroll an early japanese anime film. Every stage keeps you glued to your device because keeps on getting challenging and interesting. I also like the concept of throwing ninja stars and the use of katana. highly recommended game two thumbs up. Kudos to the developer!
