Overall a fun little game, but I do hope there are a good amount of changes as it comes out of early access Edit: Dev if you read this, ngl this comes across as more harsh than I intended, I want to be clear that I liked your game, I only leave this review with my opinions on what it is doing not as well, because I believe it is some polish away from being a game I would love. It is afterall still a positive review. There are a few choices which just seem a little odd. Food is only really useful early game, and at that point you are using such ♥♥♥♥ food and getting so little out of it sleep is much much better. The only thing you want to remain aware of the time for is the reset of the mine, and once you start doing upgrades to your tools that is not any sort of issue. Speaking of tools, it feels a little clunky, it would be nice if maybe there was another button that allowed you to pull out your last used tool, or just map them to the number keys. That the tool use is a bit clunky makes the core loop feel odd as well, this is not an automation game, as such you want that loop to feel smooth, and instead of a smooth loop we have a clunky one that slightly punishes you for tryi…1 found this helpful
This game has a lot of potential, but still needs some polish. It's still early access with the most recent update (as of this writing) in June 2026, so it's still being worked on. I'm willing to cut it a little slack. I haven't progressed far in the game, and some people complain about doing everything quickly. However, I sometimes like a nice relaxed game to unwind, and this fits that bill. The interface is a little rough and counter-intuitive. I'm hoping this gets cleaned up later, but it's not so bad that it's a deal breaker. There are also some terminology issues (such as using "furnace" to mean "smelter"), but again, it's not a deal breaker. All-in-all, it's a nice little cozy game. It's not going to scratch that excitement itch, but if you're looking to unwind, it's enjoyable. (Full price of $10 isn't bad, but I got it for about half price on sale, and it's easily worth that already.)
Charming and simple. Don't go in expecting a deep experience. Have had fun when playing, could be a bit more optimised but it is EA. Bought it at 50% off, not sure if I would pay full price for the game currently but if the game lives up to what is planned for the full experience I would.
Enchanted Blacksmith is a very charming game that I have absolutely fallen in love with. Every update has added more interesting mechanics, and while I know at the time of review it is in early access, I believe I have about 30 hours in the game so far. It's lovely. You have a horse, a cart, and a dream. The tutorials show you how to get started, and if you press "I" on keyboard you can pull up a very helpful tutorial book if you need to check something! Are you someone who hates fishing minigames but really want fish in your games? This one is so satisfying. You throw your fishing line- wait for a tug, and click. That's it. That's your fish now. How fantastic. I love making different metals and being able to make all different items with them, and I really like the map- it's small but you can traverse the ENTIRE thing and I really love that. I like getting my blacksmith some sleep, crafting some juice and fish soup that we make from our own farm/community bushes/catches, and heading out to the mines every Monday morning to gather up all the ore that has regenerated. Throughout the week, if you don't want to buy ore but you do want to keep playing- you can grow differe…
