✦ AI summary

Enchanted Broom is a short platformer where you control a witch flying on a broom through various levels, with customization options and a racing vehicle mode included. Players appreciate the core gameplay execution and the ability to customize your character, but criticize the game as feeling unfinished and hastily released, with poor presentation including no story introduction, generic level names, and a general sense of abandonment with limited content and tedious level design.

It is a short, unpolished platformer that offers little content, but the execution is fine, though some levels were a bit tedious. You can also hop into a racing vehicle, which is neat. The only purpose of having coins is to unlock the other portals in the living room. There are only three biomes to explore: a desert, a construction area, and a castle, with the last portal containing other biomes like a forest, mountains, and space. Every level has its own platforms, enemies, and traps. We can double jump, mantle over gaps, and wal…

Right from the start, the game makes it clear that it was probably meant to be much more than what it ended up being. Something must have gone wrong along the way, perhaps a lack of budget, time, or simply abandonment, because what remains feels like an unfinished project hastily released in its current state. When you start the game, there’s no introduction or story setup. You simply spawn inside a small house with no explanation. In front of you stands a portal that invites you to enter, which you can do only after paying all the money you have. Activating it brings up a stage-selection screen featuring a bunch of levels, each labeled with generic names like Desert 3 or Castle 2. You can choose any stage to play, with the goal of completing them and earning enough coins to unlock the next portal, which leads to new levels. This doesn’t take long; after just a couple of stages, you’ll have more than enough to buy all four portals. Coins are scattered everywhere along each linear path, making it impossible to miss them. Unfortunately, there are no other collectibles, and collecting every coin doesn’t reward you in any way. Once you’ve unlocked all four portals, there’s little rea…
