Visuals don't match the eras of video games you're supposed to be at, levels are uninspired and boring, same for the gameplay. The humor is cliché, not funny and made worse by the MC explaining the jokes. I do not recommend.7 found this helpful
Had such a fun evening playing Enionax. It's challenging but extremely fun and takes you back for a trip through nostalgia. Absolutely loved it!3 found this helpful
The concept of the game is good, the controls are fine, visuals mimic "the old days" well, but if you play on normal then you have to perform all the jumps with perfect precision as you only have 3 lives (i.e. if you fail a jump you lose a life, or if you lose your 3 hearts you lose a life). The difficulty is intentional. Even this wouldn't be that bad except that towards the end of the game there are some long jumps that require pretty good precision and it isn't difficult to fail a jump or two in quick succession and therefore place yourself in a position where you have to play through the *entire game again* in order to even get to attempt those same precise jumps (takes about 15min each attempt). tl;dr good concept, execution is frustrating.
