✦ AI summary

Players are deeply divided on "Linked," with some finding it an amateurish platformer with poor execution and shallow mechanics, while others praise it as an easy, enjoyable experience with a satisfying final puzzle and ending. The game's dual-character puzzle mechanics receive mixed reactions, ranging from poorly implemented to worthwhile, suggesting the title may appeal primarily to casual players looking for a straightforward experience rather than those seeking polished, complex gameplay.

"Linked" is a weird garbage tier platformer that looks like a student project, and if this was a student project, I'm guessing the students were expelled for bringing such disrepute to the establishment... to say this is a low quality effort is an understatement. There's a faux artistic narrative about "exploring time and space" but all you'll explore here is just how bad some amateur developers are while still thinking it's okay to burn $100 USD on Steam Direct to publish junkware. It's got a bit of a "2 characters at the same time" for some puzzle sections, but wow, it's just so badly done. The technical execution of this game is shallow and simplistic, just enough to tick the boxes required to get something (anything) published on Steam, rather than investing the huge amount of effort and budget needed to create a fully fledged, comprehensive, high quality product. This feels like a tech demo more than a full game. The graphics here are particularly awful, some of the ugliest, laziest pixelcrap I've ever seen, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract…
