Alright. Envyus is a bit of a tough rating. This is a very very old-school real-time RPG with all the jank and rough edges that come with it being that. On the other hand, the game also has undeniable charm. Just off the bat, I'll note that Steam's screenshot function is not operable with this game, and the game's designed F7 for screenshots seems to work, but I've got no idea where those screenshots wander off to. I imagine they're in some file somewhere, but nowhere I've found. So, Envyus begins with as it says in the product description. You, Baldric Lamarc, son of a noble and a warrior in your own right, have been tasked by your father with attending the funeral of the recently deceased king, who inexplicably died from a disease nobody thought existed, taking an entire town down with him. Apparently, you had a romance with the princess, which leads to a scenario where you are imprisoned and have to escape and clear your name from the crime with which you've been charged. You are helped by someone who expresses doubt as to your guilt and who also believes the king was actually assassinated. From that point forward, you attempt to clear your name, solve a crime, and since…

clunky old skool animations and combat for some reason I noticed youtubers playing the game for just a half hour... shockingly after almost 6 hours and counting a ive come to enjoy the game despite the flaws which to me aint worth cryong about...I like the game... Firstly the combat..aiming your mouse pointer towards the enemy is full of positives and negatives if the enemy changes spots or your outnumbered in a corner its difficult to get out of that so dont get cornered you atart with a sword and later a bow which is crafted ...defeat 8 floors of monsters to get a new sword that emits a light handy in the dark.... weapons can be upgraded and make u a beast as does a skill that replenishes your health with a short timeout...and thats when the game gets easier ....and to be honest at level 15 overpowered secondly the art style reminds me a bit like legacy of kain on PC gore monsters traps secrets caves hidden treasure its got the lot you can grow crops which takes an age but gets u cash and ends a side Quests and the Side Quests are pretty ok for an RPG the English language in the game is not perfect in fact that needs work and does the music its...not good...I turned it …

Janky as hell. The writing is boring. I probably microslept somewhere, too. I'm sorry to say this, but this is just a waste of time

A bit janky and with some language issues, a modern old school like action rpg. The idle animations are done well and remind you of 90s rpg aesthetics. The game rewards exploring and backtracking. I think the game would have been much harder if I had not completed the quest to get natural regeneration considering that in some areas enemies respawn. You would run out of potions. Luckily leveling up heals you completely. A good game if you like old school rpgs and don't mind jank.

this game is a weird, janky mess, with charm and heart... i recommend this with the caveat of IF you can forgive some severe translation issues, and repetitive combat... there's the core of something great here, it needs a translation patch and some more work... still recommended if you like odd ball ARPGs

Envyus starts with a solid premise, but almost everything surrounding it feels poorly executed. Combat is basic and unreliable, exploration is frustrating due to awkward map design, and the RPG systems are barely explained. The biggest issue is the English translation, which is so broken that the story often comes across as complete nonsense, making it difficult to follow or care about what’s happening. On top of that, the game is riddled with bugs, including a game-breaking issue that completely halted my progress halfway through. Combined with bizarre quest logic and constant technical problems, Envyus feels unfinished and unpolished. Even at a low price, it’s hard to recommend when the game can’t be completed and the experience is this rough. Full video review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMs2vgrBFgA
