I really liked the OG Crimson Manor game, which is my problem with this one, I guess, because I really wanted to have more of that and to love this one too. I think I can recommend this game to people who didn't play Inheritance or played it so long ago they forgot about it. After reading early reviews I patiently waited to play with my husband so that authors had their time to patch it up. It works perfectly fine now, however it's the game itself that disappointed me. The majority of riddles was basically copy-paste from the previous game. Lore was also diluted comparing to the Inheritance and ending was just disappointing. The whole 4th act was super short and easy for us, just one room with two "nooks", including mask riddle from the last game.
Game crashes way to often and sometimes one person cannot do anything like open doors or pick up an item. No real explanation of anything.
If you like puzzle/escape room style games this is such a good one. Playing it with my sister and we're having an amazing time with it!
The best part of the game is how it forces you to describe what you see and listen carefully to your partner. There are no visual shortcuts; if you can't explain yourself clearly, you won't progress—and that is exactly what turns moments of frustration into shared laughter. The atmosphere is tense, mysterious, and incredibly well-crafted for a game of this genre.

Really good game love the team work aspect of it and I love the puzzles too! Well worth the money.
