✦ AI summary
Players praise the engaging movement mechanics and the satisfying challenge of optimizing routes and speedrunning, with many finding the game relaxing and easy to pick up despite its difficulty. However, the duck mechanic is divisive—some find it stressful and frustrating, adding frustration without meaningful gameplay depth, while others enjoy the added pressure it creates; difficulty progression is also cited as steep, leading to frequent restarts.
Love the movement and the game. But the duck is just anti fun, adds no value in my opnion. The timer itself already gives you a reason to go fast and try to improve your time. The duck just adds no extra layer of fun, if you want to try a better route or you fall the duck is there.. An option to play with the duck would be great5 found this helpful
The game is pretty fun, but where it really will hook you in is when you try to get the lowest possible times. Can definitely recommend the game if you like to challenge yourself. Not finished the game yet, but I 100% will!3 found this helpful
Very fun! It feels like a mix of Trackmania and a puzzle platformer. It is basically about finding the optimal path to the goal. I'm probably only like 10-12 levels in, but I will definitely finish it. It is very relaxing, even when being chased by the quack! And it is very easy to pick up and play; you can play for 1-2 hrs or you can play 10 minutes in a session.1 found this helpful
Escape the Quack is actually fun, but holy crap it can be so frustrating. The duck is always right behind you, the levels get harder way too fast, and you’ll probably rage‑restart like 20 times. But somehow… you still keep playing. It’s annoying, stressful, and kinda awesome at the same time.1 found this helpful
