Player Reviews
"The awesomeness of this game completely shocked me. Based on the bland title and screenshots, it looked like just another bad indie puzzle game that I would either quit out of boredom or frustration. I was NOT expecting the best puzzle game I played since the Talos Principle and one of the best Myst-like games ever made. Truly a hidden gem." -wintersofi
"Nicely done! In my continuous quest to find games like Quern, Obduction, and of course the Myst series, I stumbled upon this gem the day it was released." - Snoop Bob
"I would definitely recommend the game to others. Particularly those who enjoyed Myst, Rhem and The Witness. Looking forward to more from this developer." - robertwholmes
“This is a really good adventure puzzle game. The environment is very large spanning multiple islands with different geographies and themes, from high desert to the depths of a coal mine.” - mitchell_the_first
The Game
How did you end up at Escapeworld? Without your consent, you were snatched from your every day life. Basically, kidnapped. Teleported to Escapeworld. Now you are standing, alone, in a theme-park-sized "Escape Room" that looks like it was supposed to be a puzzle and exploration resort for paying guests. How do you escape these puzzle islands and get back to your world?
That will be no simple matter. But one thing is clear - something has gone badly wrong at Escapeworld. It is up to you to not only escape, but to see if you can fix Escapeworld. Others are counting on you to make the right choice to resolve the dilemma you face.
Escapeworld Dilemma is an Indie-developed single-player walk around puzzle and exploration game. Of the Escape Room genre, the game takes place in a large, open theme park like world with 12 differently themed islands to explore, many different puzzles to solve, many challenges to overcome, and most importantly, a choice you must make to resolve the dilemma you face.

exactly like myst.............very intriguing and tough
one of the best escape world that i played highly recommended
It blew my mind how good this game was. It feels a lot like Myst--in the best way possible! It's creative, fun, not too easy but not too hard, and a decent length too. Since the game was free, I kept my expectations modest, but honestly this game is one of the best in the genre. I would have gladly paid $20 for a game of this quality. Truly awesome. I'll keep an eye on Sonoma Games, and I hope they release another game in the future!
Very annoying puzzles. Things you need to solve them can be half the world away, which means several trips taking them all to the correct place one at a time, and thats only if you have already figured out how to solve it. Because you have to keep returning to other locations there is no real feeling you are progressing, just getting a longer trek between things you can interact with. By the time you get there you cant remember any information relevant to the solution, or even realise they should be connected. You are required to memorise coordinates and a frequency for each teleport location, each one is 13 pieces of info ( (+/- (0-9)*4)*2 (0-9)*3 ), iirc there are at least 4 to remember. You need to remember them twice since you need the first 10 bits to get the final 3 of each. If you didnt write them down then each one is a separate LONG trip. To get the first 10 bits you need to operate a drone and get to the teleporters exact locations on the map. SO FUN. I still have a long way to go so might update this if i encounter more problems.
I love puzzle games. I am good at puzzle games. These are bad puzzles and the short amount of time I spent in this game was wasted time. I wanted to like it, but there was just not enough polish to this slapped together asset flip looking title. There are many other puzzles games out there of this nature that are much better. Also, the audio quality / sound design is perhaps the worst part of the game. And if you're colorblind, good luck even starting the game.
