Summary
Eternity's Child is an unfinished platformer with janky controls. Don't buy it (I usually write longer reviews, but there literally is nothing more to say about this "game").
Pros and cons
+/- Art style +/- Music and sound - Unfinished and abandoned game - Clunky controls, floaty jumping, imprecise movement - Flimsy, incomprehensible story - Bad level design (you often don't see where you're supposed to go, so you have to rely on leaps of faith, causing many insta-deaths) - Bad enemy design (often starting to fire at you from somewhere off-screen, appearing out of nowhere, or just sitting there for you to do some target practice)
Verdict
Don't buy this.
STORY
The game has you playing a pair of characters without much backstory. The game appears to be based on a fairy tale.
GAMEPLAY
The gameplay is a platformer meets shooter meets puzzle solving and it manages to do them all pretty badly.
PLAYTIME
The game is difficult due to the controls to “master”, however the current story can be completed in ~2-3 hours, with it taking ~4-5 hours to get all achievements, which is collecting the gems from each map.
COMPLAINTS
The game was never finished, even though it was promised to be done. The game is still for sale, so I am not sure if the developer gave up on the game or…

In a fit of nostalgia and achievement completion I fired up this monstrosity. What can I say ? The controls are appalling and the character movement is like something you'd find in a 1980s magazine type-in. To Valve's eternal shame they allowed this abomination onto their storefront in the early days of Steam. Simply the worst game I have ever played. It's not even good in a bad either.

One of the worst games I've ever played... that's saying a LOT. Please stay away from this game and save your sanity, there's absolutely no redeeming aspects to this "game"
