Too tough for me. Levels are too short. No upgrades. Not enough shields (number of hits you can take). Too few continues or credits. You can earn more, but I'm not sure how. Either high scores or number of games. In any case, it requires replaying the same levels over and over and over. I don't have the patience. Different perspective angles, not always side scrolling from left to right, so that's cool. As was the little interlude where you were locking on and shooting down many rockets as your perspective constantly changed cinematically. The controls were fine with analog or d-pad. I often had trouble seeing enemy bullets especially when firing myself. Got worse in scene 3. Did not progress farther than that.5 found this helpful
had to lower my monitor's refresh rate to make it remotely playable, past that hurdle tho its good, it reminds me of a less pixelated Omega Boost with a higher draw distance1 found this helpful

Developed by Edelweiss and published by PLAYISM, the remaster revisits a cult favorite with technical improvements and modern platform support, preserving the original’s intensity while smoothing some of its rougher edges. Rather than chasing realism or complex narrative systems, the game focuses squarely on spectacle, precision, and the thrill of mastering fast-moving combat under constant pressure. The premise places players in the cockpit of a powerful experimental fighter during a desperate conflict between two nations, one technologically outmatched and fighting for survival. Story elements are delivered sparingly, functioning primarily as context for the escalating series of missions and battles rather than as a central pillar of the experience. This minimalist approach to storytelling aligns well with the arcade tradition the game draws from, allowing players to stay immersed in the action without interruption. The narrative exists to heighten stakes, not to distract from the core …
2025 here i hope the deveploper still alive can you add compatibility to 2025? i wanna play old games again seriously best game ever
Pleasantly surprised by how good the music and game was. Pretty tough but you unlock more shields and continues the more you play so you'll get thru it eventually. Reminds me of games like Rtype Delta and Einhander
One of my favorite schmups
