Eden's Eclipse is a 2D vertical-scrolling bullet hell shooter in the style of arcade games from the 1990s to the 2000s,where a girl flies through the sky and takes down enemies.Use your standard shots, special shots, and bombs to defeat the oncoming enemies.Game Features
  • The game consists of 5 stages, with a boss character waiting at the end of each stage.
  • The game offers “ORIGINAL” mode, the basic game mode, and ‘CLASSIC’ mode, where enemy bullets move faster. Additionally, if you meet certain conditions, you can play the more challenging “HELL” mode.
  • Special shots are more powerful than regular shots and can convert enemy attacks into items.

Cave-style bullet cancel/resource management shoot 'em up. I really like it despite the doujank. It's got unique levels and cool bosses. The royalty-free Japanese techno BGM rocks; love me some melodic house in my shmups. Scoring feels great as it has all the right audiovisual feedback to make it satisfying. With four playable characters and three difficulties that each drastically change the game feel, you're definitely getting your money's worth. That's a strong thumbs-up from me.

Easy recommendation if you like bullet hells. I'm not sure if the high level gameplay holds up, but as a novice/intermediate it's really fun. And it oozes charm that makes it feel like a classic. Bullet patterns feel mostly Cave-like with a taste of Touhou. If you like how it looks, I would even recommend it to someone who has never played a shmup before. Just by playing normally I think you'll get a sense of how fun bullet hells can be in the first minute of the game. And it's like Mushi in that all bullets are purple and there are no distracting gimmicks- so you can focus on the shooting and dodging.

Incredibly smooth, intuitive core mechanics, CAVE-like feel. I haven't tried Hell mode yet, but the difficulty on original is nice. It doesn't pull punches, but it isn't brutal either. The guard mechanic integrates very well with the scoring and provides some much appreciated comeback potential.
