About Event Race
Event Race is your ultimate local multiplayer racing game, capable of accommodating up to 30 players simultaneously. Inspired by classic arcade games, we've crafted this tribut to the genre. Our goal is to expand the game with a plethora of game modes and mechanics that will enhance the gaming experience, adding new layers of fun. We have plenty of ideas in store, but we want you to join us on this journey.
With a free version of the game, we aim to build a dedicated community that can actively participate in shaping the ongoing development. We plan to introduce both paid and free downloadable content (DLC). Jump in and be a part of creating a thrilling racing experience.
Use your phones as extra controllers. With the support of up to 30 players, you should be able to have a blast with friends and family at the next big get-together.

Eventgames is a game studio and more. We advocate for togetherness, laughter, and companionship through games. Since our establishment in 2017, we have specialized in creating unique gaming experiences for social events. We believe in the magic that happens when people gather around a big screen, armed with nothing but a controller/smartphone and a shared desire to have fun.
Now, with our games available on Steam. We want to bring this joy to a wider audience of gaming enthusiasts. We aim to inspire people to have fun across all ages and share laughter and excitement with those around them.
We take pride in our love for local multiplayer games. There's something special about competing and cooperating face-to-face, and it's this unique dynamic that we seek to explore and celebrate in our games. Ok -- put in normal mouse and key board controlls, so i can click and type my name, etc. let me poeple join and see the track on their phone so there's less lag. Think chatters in a stream joining to play, such a good idea if executed correctly. Can't even exit the match once its started, or i dont know the button? I love the couch play option of this at parties or gatherings, i just think adding a few more options / control options / menu, normal mouse and keyboard control would be huge. I currently have to use just they keyboard and Space to 'enter or comit'. Big potential here with some updates...6 found this helpful

Event Race is a game where you think you’ve signed up for a **simple race** and instead get thrown into: * One sprint, * One obstacle course, * One physics experiment, * And three lawsuits against whoever designed these checkpoints. Every round is some new “event” that feels like it was approved by a committee of sleep-deprived game designers and one very enthusiastic intern. --- ### Pros * Calling it a “race” is generous. Half the time it’s less “motorsport” and more “chaotic Olympics for people with balance issues.” * Perfect game for discovering which of your friends: * Shoves others off the track * Actually tries to win * Or just stands at the finish line emoting instead of crossing * Even when you lose, it’s funny. You don’t “fail,” you **ragdoll directly into a highlight reel.** * Great “one more round” energy: * “That one didn’t count.” * “Okay, THAT one didn’t count either.” * “Server lag. Obviously.” --- ### Cons * Your main enemy is not the other players. It’s physics. I'm"racing myself"?!(I'm so lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely) The second time ..what can I say, I saw the option to add AI bots! and yes as you can tell I lost to an AI bot named BOB!! [/code]
