amazing game! quite cheap for it gameplay, thoguht could do some work on the pokemon buy system
Coming across this game pretty late, but was looking for Pokemon-ish games and found this. Really enjoying this game's take on the genre. I'm still new and learning how it all works, but it seems like a fun story with unique mechanics. I haven't gotten the evolution down yet, but it seems like it depends on what types of moves you use instead of just what level. Again, I'm not too far yet, but it feels like this will give this game some good replayability. If you're into the creature collection genre, this is definitely worth checking out!
the gameplay is unecessarily complicated. the creos in this game evolve but they don't get stronger, their base stats simply change orientation. this would be fine if let's say, we knew when they are going to learn their next moves or what kind of loadout we want them to have, but you have to look these things up online. good luck figuring out which pre-evolution moves are useful for later evolutions and which aren't. I can't handle all this analysis paralysis. also the game is a bit buggy.
You know I should of expected less from a poorly optimized re-release of a mobile game on Steam but here we are. Honestly the only reason why I played this was I wanted to check out EvoCreo 2, but playing the og EvoCreo really soured my experience with the franchise, you can tell this was made for mobile. Hell they couldn't even put in good controls for the PC release because APPARENTLY they tied with moving screens to see info on your creos and such TO THE MOUSE LIKE YOUR SWIPING ON A PHONE. Like come on, its so easy, not to mention how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard and grindy the entire game was, I can tell how mobile games what the players to constantly play it and constantly wait on ♥♥♥♥ to do day after day after day. Hell even the DLC itemsthat is suppose to help you play the game you can only use it ONCE PER DAY IRL, YES THE TIMER GOES BY IRL TIME and not game time which would of made this game such a better experience for me... jesus I hope EvoCreo 2 is good...
Fun game to play, but better on phone or tablet devices. Steam doesn't support google play store purchases with these kinds of game ports.
