A great stealth game that breaks up long periods with some decent boss battles. Even playing on keyboard it was smooth to control. The story was interesting and kept my attention until the end. 10/10

EVOTINCTION is a stealth-focused sci-fi experience that deliberately rejects the modern trend of action-heavy gameplay in favor of something slower, more deliberate, and rooted in observation and control. Developed by Spikewave Games and published by Astrolabe Games, it casts you as Dr. Thomas Liu, a researcher trapped inside a high-tech facility that has spiraled into chaos after its artificial intelligence systems become compromised. Instead of empowering the player with weapons or brute-force solutions, the game builds its identity around vulnerability and intellect, asking you to outthink threats rather than overpower them. This design choice immediately sets the tone for an experience that values patience, planning, and precision above all else. At the center of the gameplay is a pure stealth framework where direct combat is not an option. Dr. Liu is not a fighter, and encounters with hostile machines are designed as puzzles rather than battles. The enemies—primarily autonomous drones—patrol areas with varying behaviors, forcing you to carefully study their patterns and movements. Clearly I haven't played this game for very long. But, the reason I'm giving it a thumbs down is that I find it to be more of a tech demo then a game. Yes, there's voice acting and apparently a story of some kind. Yes, there are hacking mechanisms and multiple ways to solve problems. But, overall, the game is not rich enough in content and mechanics to catch my interest. I think a lot of smart choices have been made, such as not having animated faces and similar time consuming content during development, but I do think they could have done more with the movement animation of the character, which again feels more like a well sculpted demo of a main character.

VERY good game, one of the best stealth action games ever, Graphics, audio etc, all solid. Game play story line, two thumbs up.
