About Exodus
Venture into this platform game in the Metroidvania genre with a fantastic 2D open world with pixelated graphics in its best retro style.
Moses is on vacation in Egypt, until the terrible Ramses, prince of Egypt, kidnaps his beautiful girlfriend. The hero will have to traverse the scorching desert, descend deep underground and explore the dangerous pyramid of Ramses to find the girl, facing many challenges with enemies, traps, secret passages and bosses.
To accomplish his mission, Moses will count on his weapons, power-ups and items scattered or hidden throughout the map. There will also be shops selling items, power-ups, supplies and hints, so collect as many coins as you can find along the way, including the secret treasure rooms.
Exodus has a save game system, fast travel around the map, achievements in missions, inventory to be able to carry helpful items for the journey, such as life potions, edibles, keys to open doors and much more.
Take on this adventure and test yourself in the challenges of this incredible game, until you complete 100% of the map.

Update: Instead of responding and working on the game, the developer revoked my key. Anyway, the game might not be available for much longer due to assets from other games. The game is a weird mix of assets from elsewhere, but the biggest culprit are empty stages and no map. At its core, the game combines action and metroidvania components. You find yourself on a map with obstacles that cannot be conquered with your basic abilities. By exploring the map, you obtain skills such as double leap and slide, which allow you to push further. The game starts encouraging, but it quickly ruins everything with bad design. While there is a small mini-map in the lower corner, you don’t have a full map that would fill out as you progress through the game. This is a problem because the game is made of filler content that doesn’t add anything. This shows up in the form of long and empty stretches that just waste your time. Also, you have no way of knowing if you found every secret. Even if you find a key for a locked door somewhere behind, you won’t even remember where it is. Your character carries a sword and a gun with limited ammunition. The sword is not particularly useful because it has l…14 found this helpful
This game reminded me a lot of the time I played Super Nintendo in 1993, it made me remember those nostalgic plataform games from that time. It starts a little slowly and teaches you how to play in an intuitive way, because without learning a certain function of the game, you won't be able to progress to new places. The game has many coins scattered around the scenes, and when you kill enemies they drop coins, ammunition, food, one time it even dropped 1 life. I found the shooting a little slow, but I saw that you can increase its speed as you progress by purchasing from the game's store. The coins you pick up throughout the scene are to be spent in these stores, to recharge life or buy information from what I saw. I saw that you also have the freedom to go anywhere, there are many paths to explore, it's like an open world without forcing you to follow a logical path, there's always something hidden in these places. The background music is very pleasant. the player starts the game with 5 lives and can only receive 3 damage per life, but from what I saw you can increase the damage resistance found in a kind of heart on the map, I found it a little difficult at the beginning bu…4 found this helpful
