This is the kind of game I love to find on steam, a home grown concoction of fun game elements that flow together in an extremely entertaining way. It’s a 3match where you build your draw deck to place cards to clear the board. The gameplay elements can be a bit shrouded, but it’s fun to learn the mechanics while an attractive ghost dances a tantalizing jig in the background. A seriously fun roguelite deck building game that just might have you wishing these ghosts would visit you at night. You just might want wish that "This ghost likes you very much and no longer has a negative impact on you" first. Seriously, interesting concept that has me often saying "ok just one more round...Ok seriously THIS round in the last"
This game is actually very satisfying once you start figuring the mechanics out (very confusing at first). It's a card rogue-lite like Slay the Spire with sexy girls, which honestly is only a plus. The translations don't make sense sometimes, and it lacks enemy variety but it's quite unique in terms of gameplay and an easy recommendation.
Exorcism Agency is, overall, a very cool game. The atmosphere is strong, the presentation is polished, and the supernatural theme is handled with style. It blends investigation, character interaction, and light horror elements in a way that keeps things engaging without feeling overly complicated. The pacing works, and the core gameplay loop is satisfying enough to keep you hooked. One thing that really stands out is the design of the entities. They’re visually striking, charismatic, and honestly sexy enough that it feels like a missed opportunity not to lean harder into that aspect. The game flirts with a more mature tone but never fully commits. Considering how bold the character designs already are, pushing further into an optional 18+ direction would feel natural rather than forced. Unlockable content could also expand in that direction. New sexy costumes for the entities, alternate forms, or visual variations would add replay value and give players more incentive to engage long-term. Right now, it feels like there’s room for deeper customization and fan service that simply isn’t being explored. Another missed opportunity is the Workshop integration. Instead of focusing mostly …
deck management and map similar to slay the spire. relics and potions mirror slay the spire. battles are match 3 puzzles. runs are 3 bosses like spire and may last 1+ hour each. there is meta progression with captured souls gained from the dancing ghosts. Its decent.
When I first saw this game, I was misled by the horny and thought "no way this is gonna be any good". But I'm a sucker for card games and ghosts so I ended up buying it anyway after a while. I was pleasantly surprised, the game is pretty good. Good theme, good mood, good music, good and pretty unique card mechanics and, uh, good dancing animations I guess?
