Genuinely one of my favourite titles from this genre, roping me back in day after day. The sheer variety of starting characters/gear/cards you can mix & match, and all the builds they can enable, really gives you a reason to come back and play run after run after run. There were also a not-insignificant number of times I thought I was reaching the end of things you can discover, only for the game to open up another layer of complexity. Additionally, it feels like there's more variety with statuses and cards than in other comparable games, and I can't put my finger on why, but the very act of deckbuilding has a distinctly different feel from its colleagues like Slay The Spire. Also, Dorian is hot.

i love this game, what a beautiful passion project, genuinely fun to play and such personality in the design with a hint of nostalgia

I can understand why not all fans of deckbuilders would like this game, but for me, it scratches just the right itches. It's about building synergies, and then making a small, highly-upgraded deck. If you like adding a lot of cards, this isn't your game. It also has rougelite meta-progression which makes the game MUCH easier, mostly in the form of adding passive healing and gold to each run. You don't unlock higher difficulty runs until you've defeated all four bosses, and since which boss you get is random, that can take a while. Even so, you'll be getting new characters to add to your team and try out the whole time, so it didn't get boring. I like the asthetic and the music, too. Overall, I've been liking this a lot.

its ok for what it is , but it just wastes to much time for transitions and such , it feels like it pads everything , plus its legability and such feels off

A really polished roguelite deckbuilder with a unique premise and some fresh twists. It doesn't get bogged down in minutiae to maintain an engaging level of complexity, allowing battles to be both quick and strategic. And the music is excellent, getting you right in the mood for some ghost-bustin'. A minor complaint is that there isn't a huge level of enemy variety, with the game relying on palette swaps to pad out its roster of foes. Other than that, it's solid, and a great thematic contrast to other games in the genre.
