Exploding Judo Federation

I was doing a 24 hour stream, jumping from game to game. Until we decided to try Exploding Judo Federation and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ was most fun we had! can't stop thinking about it! such a fun game! I feel bad having it for free even. If it was re released unchanged, just with online, I would even pay 80 dollars for it with a smile on my face. I will try to run it on my local fgc events, I need to be able to play this with people as often as I can! Absolute banger!

Probably in my top 3 fighting games to come out in 2025 and definitely the most unique. It takes the one-hit-kills gameplay of games like Divekick, Footsies, or Nidhogg and injects a healthy serving of sauce and nutty movement and schmix into em. Grab a friend or bring this to your locals, it'll be a good time

Exploding Judo Federation is one of the funniest fighting games I have played in a while because it takes the idea of judo and pushes it into complete chaos. Every grab can be lethal, so the usual fighting game strategy of slowly wearing down an opponent goes out the window. I liked how tense even a simple exchange can become when one successful throw can immediately end the match. The combat revolves around movement, strikes and grabs. I have to use attacks to create openings, then find the right moment to grab my opponent and finish the fight. Rolling around the arena is just as important as attacking because positioning can decide everything. I enjoyed how simple the rule set is to understand while still leaving room for timing and mind games. The super moves add another fun layer. Different characters can have very different finishing options, including counters, powerful grabs and ranged attacks. I liked that these abilities can instantly change the situation because it gives every fighter another threat to consider. This is the best 3D fighting game in history. Full Stop. This is one of the indie fighting games that everyone should play, no matter how terrible you are at 3D fighters. The roster has so much variety that you'll find something for everybody: Giant electric lobsters, gay sharkmen, lesbian robot idols, double chinned superheroes etc... Just try it. Also, it runs on a burnt lemon and two paperclips.

A really cool fighting game with some cool lore that proves—even when you need one move to win—I am still a scrub.
