How Fantasy Gladiators Came to Be
One day, a father and son decided they wanted to make a video game together, after the son had just learned the basics of coding. They both loved Fantasy Football, so they decided to make a gladiator-style twist on the classic game. Through many months of dedication, they finally were able to pull off a new game, Fantasy Gladiators!

"Fantasy Gladiators" is an extremely lazy asset flip, basically a "spreadsheet" style "tycoon" sim where you click around to pretend to manage a bunch of "gladiators" which are all really just 2D character sprites the developer stole off the internet (I've seen them in a bunch of other asset flips and mobile apps). There's no value as a serious game here, this might as well have been a web page. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 13 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it…
Good for a few minutes of fun. Would like to see them greatly expand upon this. Random adversaries, etc... Good base game concept, just needs more to do.

For some reason, my bonus from winning would go to the other team. Also, why can't I change the placement of where each of my character go, it doesn't make sense.
