If you've played the previous iteration of this series on Steam ("Fantasy Mosaics 14: Fourth Color"), you know exactly what to expect with this one ("Fantasy Mosaics 15: Ancient Land"). Basically, pure nonograms (20 sets of 5) with the twist that you have/get to complete four separate color's worth of a nonogram to complete each puzzle. Everything's very visible and doable. My only quibble is that the two tools you get (a bomb-like thing and a pick) aren't well explained (I still don't understand what the difference between them is -- though I hardly use them (only when the game presents me with a logic loop). This game took me 13.3 hours to complete (no Achievements available -- though they'd be nice in this game). That's about 5 hours less than what it took me to complete the previous game. But, I'm pretty sure it's just because I got a whole lot better at these since then. So, even at its current list price of about $7, it's worth it. I got the game for about $2, so that's even better. Definitely recommended.

👎 I would not recommend it. Positive: +It's fun to play a picross by colors. Although it can make the puzzle solving too easy if each color does not have much painted tiles. I would rather play a slightly better picross game that also feature multiple colors like "Travel Mosacis 6: Christmas Around the World" or "Travel Mosaics 10: Spooky Halloween" than this one with is 90's UI look. +Even with it's flaws, it is still kind of addicting and enjoyable to play. Negative: -No validation when you delete a profile (bye bye progress 🥲) -It just look at a port of an old 1995 game, graphics and UI are horrible. -No customisation. -Some puzzles requires guessing. -No steam achievements. -No grid size displayed anywhere. -Other small stuff that would need to be addressed to improve the gaming experience.

It's a standard Picross/Nonogram puzzle game. The way it uses multiple colors is fun. The interface is mouse based and easy to use. Finishing each set of 5 pictures earns you a "reward" of new art. Overall I like it very much it is exactly what I was looking for in this type of game.

Good picross game, only a few instances of having to guess.
