About Fargone
Enter the BarrensThe Barrens were shattered by a mysterious nuclear disaster that poisoned the land and warped everything it touched. The dead now wander as infected husks, and the living haven’t escaped unscathed either. Twisted, man-made mutants born from failed experiments and radiation scars roam the wastes, hunting anything that still breathes. What remains is a harsh, lonely expanse of toxic storms, abandoned settlements, and dangers that were never meant to exist. How you endure what’s left is entirely up to you.Alliances & EnemiesThose who survived the catastrophe have split into powerful roaming factions, each with their own camps, vendors, and mission networks. They move across the wilderness, clash over territory and respond to how you conduct yourself and who with. Earn their trust, exploit their rivalries, or become the threat they warn each other about. Build your reputation carefully, because it can open doors or paint a target on your back. With enough faction standing, or the right bribe at the right moment, you can even recruit companions willing to walk the Barrens beside you.Beyond Human ThreatsThe infection didn’t just kill; it twisted everything it touched. The undead roam in unpredictable patterns, from shambling husks to warped monstrosities that stalk the dark. But they’re not the only things born from the end of the world. Man-made mutants created through failed experiments and radiation-warped biology prowl the Barrens, hunting anything that survives. And deep in the wasteland, powerful boss creatures wait for anyone desperate enough to wander into their territory.Dark AtmosphereThe Barrens feels alive even when the world stands still. Thick green fog rolls through the Hazard Zone, radioactive storms erupt without warning, and the wind carries echoes that make you question what’s actually out there. Each region has its own mood and weather, from choking toxic rain to frozen, silent mountain ridgelines. Nothing here is warm. Nothing here is safe.Build a home to survive the new worldSurvival means more than a campfire now. Shape your own refuge with a fully modular base-building system that lets you create anything from a lone outpost to a fortified stronghold. Power your structures through a functional grid, manage generators, and keep the fuel flowing if you want the lights to stay on and the dangers out. Every wall, wire, and welded panel is a choice that can protect you or paint a target on your back in a world that never stops pressing in.Scavenge, Craft and Endure
Supplies are scarce, and every item counts. Search decaying towns, derelict industrial sites, and forgotten bunkers for gear, medicine, weapons, and materials. Craft what you can’t find and upgrade your survivor as you scrape together the tools you need to last another day.Adapt and improve to survive
Your skills develop through use, shaping the kind of survivor you become. Strengthen your abilities, unlock new options and adapt your playstyle through an evolving RPG skill system that will expand throughout Early Access.Harsh Conditions, Immersive survival
Injury and illness aren’t just status effects. Broken bones slow you, infections spread, and untreated conditions spiral into something far worse. Manage your health carefully to ensure you are always ready to face the threats within the Barrens. Items also feature a variety of use animations giving depth to every action, stuck in a toxic storm without adequate protection? Knock back to alcohol to soften the radiation, running a high infection? Try taking so anti biotics or as a fallback unpack some cigarettes to keep you going!Long term support
Fargone will grow over time, with new regions, systems, factions, and features added regularly through and beyond Early Access. This is a world meant to evolve, and your story will evolve with it.MultiplayerThis feature deserves it's own section due to it's importance. Fargone has always been built around the idea of having coop, and it WILL HAVE COOP. However, for the launch of the game and the growing complexities of the AI system and others, I have made the decision to hold the launch of coop back until the game has launched and settled. Multiplayer is currently targeted at being a 1-4 player experience. The focus on human AI and factions makes for a strong single player experience at launch that I hope you will love as much as I have creating it!

broken (getting shot or attacked threw objects, respawning or clipping/falling threw map and other objects), buggy (enemies spawn out of thin air on top of you, items despawns from player placed loot containers) and hard to look at ( screen tears constantly, lighting freaks out while in gunfight sometimes and from player placed light objects, gun clips threw face when aiming sometimes)2 found this helpful

I can't bring myself to enjoy a game that straight up assaults my ears with 1000 decibels every time a PDA message pops up :U
Do you love Stalker GAMMA but hate having to constantly uninstall and reinstall games around it because it just sits there taking up 130 gigs like the monstrous masterpiece that it is? Me too. Fargone is currently very much like a Stalker GAMMA lite, and scratches that particular itch extremely well. I love it. It won't stop me from reinstalling GAMMA, but it's amazing on its own.
Incredibly basic in some respects while needlessly complex in others. Completely pointless melee weapons (very weak, no reach, undodgeable enemy attacks). Very sparse and boring map design. A lot of effort obviously went into the game, but not enough to make it fun. Pick another Stalker clone to play, or just stick with the OG titles.
loved the game at first but after the most recent update i will spawn under the map whenever id die. please add an unstuck button or just fix the issue
