About Farjob
When ethereal whispers are carried on the wind, and the cosmic gateways are left ajar, otherworldly beings begin to emerge from their slumber.
Unfortunately, Farjob is not a game about a man travelling to his distant occupation. Rather, it is about a man being hurled into dangerous worlds beyond our own. During this frightening journey, things are never as they seem. The levels will constantly change to create new and amazing dangers. Absurd bosses will assault and bewilder you.

A few imaginative and well designed boss fights. A surprisingly decent game.7 found this helpful
The best part of this game is the imagination that went into it. It's like the dev just cracked open their head and spilled it out for all to see without concern of what people thought. Fun too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-uSlcf4zzk6 found this helpful

"Farjob" is a surreal but genuinely made 2D retro pixel/MS-Paintish platformer, one of many thousands infesting Steam. In fairness it seems like quite a bit of work went into this one, but it was still a dismal failure... hard work put into a product/format that nobody really likes (eg: 2D retro GameMaker Studio kitbashed platformers) is unfortunately wasted effort, as the rather embarrassing SteamDB figures show. There's platforming, obstacle avoidance and boss fights in this platformer, and a lot of bizarre and surreal assets... but weirdness was not what the 2D pixel platformer genre needed to come back from the dead. This features really godawful pixelcrap/MS-Paint "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was chargi…3 found this helpful
