"A Triumph of Flatulence: A Life Changed by ‘Fart King’" Move over Elden Ring. Step aside Baldur’s Gate 3. Forget everything you thought you knew about game design, storytelling, or dignity. Fart King has arrived—and yes, it has changed my life in ways that therapy, religion, and kale smoothies never could. From the moment I pressed “Start” and was serenaded by the gentle pffffrrrt of destiny, I knew I was in for a transformative experience. The graphics? Michelangelo wishes he had these textures. The gameplay? It’s like Dark Souls, if Dark Souls were about gastrointestinal dominance. And the story? I laughed. I cried. I questioned the very nature of my existence. But let’s talk about the true heroes here: Team Cherry. Some say they vanished after Hollow Knight, buried deep in the mines of Silksong. But no. They saw the bigger picture. They asked themselves: Do players really want atmospheric exploration and tight Metroidvania combat? Or... do they want to become monarchs of methane? Clearly, they chose correctly. Thank you, Team Cherry, for abandoning Silksong to dedicate your talents to this magnum opus of bodily function. Fart King isn’t just a game. It’s a way of life. A p…5 found this helpful
Truly a modern day masterpiece. Fart king is no less than the best game of 2025. I'm glad Team Cherry decided to delay Silksong in order to focus on this project.5 found this helpful

Honestly a good game. It feels more like Jump King 2 than the new jump king quest. If you enjoyed the original one, you probably will also enjoy this. PROS: - Cheap. (note: it took me 3 hr to beat it the fist time) - It definitely gives off Jump King vibes, but it still feels unique. Yes, it's a bit goofy, but it is also fun. - The controls feel great when you get used to them. - The level design is well done, it gets subtly more difficult, but you also get better so it cancels out. - The built-in help system is really appreciated after a big fall. CONS: - I had some weird frame drops, and I'm pretty sure my (potato) PC is not to blame. - The boosters are very inconsistent, especially at the end I always had very different speeds and angles. Suggestions: - The assist system should be a toggleable, maybe even an achivement to beat the game without it. So, overall good game.1 found this helpful
