FATHER after 40 is a pixel-art roguelite strategy game about surviving middle age.You play as an ordinary man after the age of 40, facing work pressure, family bills, health problems, debt, temptation, and the small daily disasters that slowly wear people down.This is not a story about becoming a hero.It is about trying not to be completely crushed by life.

You Do Not Level Up. You Grow Older.

In most games, a higher level means you become stronger.In FATHER after 40, you do not level up.You grow older.The higher your age rises, the closer you are to death. Your reaction time becomes shorter, recovery becomes harder, and life gives you less room to make mistakes.Every year you survive is not just progress.It is also another step toward the end.
