Every visit to the forest, you'll be pursued by one of six unique monsters acting as your nemesis for the round. Each is designed to dismantle your expectations, being unpredictable and persistent. THE PIT hungers. To find some flesh to feed him, you'll need to speak to spirits. An especially vengeful soul has turned this into a game... Use various ritual CARDS to ask questions to the spirits. Some may be friendly... And some want you dead. Follow their instructions or pay the price.Through these spirits, you'll be able to slowly eliminate spaces on your map where the body won't be found, all until only one space remains- The one where the body you seek lies. Spoiler free TL;DR: I quite like the game a lot, and deeply believe it has promise. Normally I'd look past it being a 3 HOUR 10 DOLLAR EXPERIENCE, given it's only act 1 of 3, with what I'd assume could be an additional 6-12 additional hours. HOWEVER. Take note the game is not marked as early access. By principle, that means the 10 dollar price tag is a FULL EXPERIENCE. 3 HOURS. No endless mode, practically no replayability, still rough around the edges, and with an ending to the first act that barely satisfies any questions or intrigue I have about the story because, well, IT'S ACT 1. Update the page, and I'll update my review. You guys are fortunate I already thought this game was early access; BECAUSE IT IS. Every other developer has to play by the rules, you are absolutely no exception. OLD REVIEW: While I do recommend this game, I feel it should be noted this game is very short as of right now. 10 dollars for a 2-3 hour game is quite steep, and I'd recommend it under no circumstances if it were not for the expectation that 6-12 more hours could be expected in the next two acts for the main story. I will say I'm a little disappointed with how the monsters felt considering how …
