Carrion is a really fun horror game and insted of having to run away from the creature you are the creature though the further you get into the game it get quite hard its not too bad for a horror game 9/10 for me its a really fun game but the quality isnt the best.
Its a short good game but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ there is a reason metroidvania games have maps, i have almost completed the game but I'm just stuck running circles for the last two hours, I've seen people say it would ruin the immersion of being a monster if you had a map but i really don't agree with that.

TL;DR - technically playable on the steam deck, probably better on a PC. My review really is only relevant to controller/steam deck players. For the $2 USD I paid for this, it was a great deal, and pretty fun. There's clearly a lot of work put into this game, the art is amazing, the concept is super cool (I actually have had this in my wishlist for years solely because of the reverse-horror game concept and for my love of John Carpenter's "The Thing"). But I've also played almost exclusively on the steam deck/controller and I gotta say, it's rough for a verified title in my opinion. Controls and the camera for controller are awkward and kinda janky, I frequently had a hard time discerning what I'm looking at, especially when trying to clear a room of enemies because the camera is so aggressive in it's movement. Perhaps on mouse & keyboard this translates better and is less of a hinderance, but it's frustrating, more difficult and often nauseating with a controller, again purely in my opinion. I like the story. I've seen gameplay of it from let's players on keyboard & mouse, it's a very good game. But if you're on a console-adjacent platform like the steam deck or just prefer to…
Very fun game a definitly worth the money i think i only had one problem and that is i think there should be like a echolokation map like when you scream and the hives scream you can look at like a litle map around you and the hives since you can get lost very easily but other then that very fun game
